Discipling the unreached

About Us

West Zambia Missions is a joint project between River of Life Community Church (based in South Africa) and Signs and Wonders Christ Gospel  Ministries International (based in Zambia).

River of Life and SAWMI have worked together since 1996 to reach the unreached people of West Zambia.  Currently our focus is on the Lozi people (an unreached people group) living in Barotseland, West Zambia.  River of Life and SAWMI has planted around 26 churches in the Mulobezi district.  Arthur and Liezl joined them in 2001, when Arthur started to disciple and train the leaders of the churches that has been planted.

Of the 637 000 people who live in Barotseland, only about 2 .6%  adhere to the Christian faith.

With the West Zambia Missions project, we are reaching and discipling the Lozi’s for Christ.  We believe in building God’s Kingdom and not our own ministry.  We  welcome Bible-believing, Life-giving churches and individuals of any denomination to work with us to extend the Kingdom.
